Terms of service

These terms apply when you use unsponsored.com.au or buy from us. Unsponsored is a trading name of Thirty Five of December Pty Ltd (ABN 13 685 523 933) ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. We've kept them as plain as we can.

1. Your rights come first

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. If anything in these terms seems to say otherwise, the law wins.

2. Who can buy

You need to be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to order from us. Some designs are marked 18+ because they contain explicit language. You must be 18 or over to order those, and by ordering one you confirm that you are.

3. Our products

  • Made to order. Every piece is printed after you order it and shipped by our production partner.
  • Colours and print. We try to show every garment and print accurately, but screens vary, so colours in real life can look slightly different. Very small differences in print position are normal for made-to-order printing. If something looks wrong when it arrives, our Refund and Returns Policy explains what we'll do.
  • Fit. Each product page has a size chart in centimetres. Please check it before ordering.
  • The statements are jokes, opinions and self-expression. They're not aimed at anyone in particular, and wearing one is your call.

4. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
  • Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • International customers may have to pay import duties or taxes when their parcel arrives.
  • We can change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders already placed.
  • If we list something at an obviously wrong price because of a mistake, we'll contact you before your order is made and give you the choice of paying the correct price or getting a full refund.
  • Payment is taken when you place your order.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we email you an order confirmation. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if the item can't be made (for example, a garment colour is no longer available), if we suspect fraud, or if there was a pricing error. If we cancel, we'll tell you why.

Changes and cancellations: email hello@unsponsored.com.au within 4 hours of ordering and we'll do our best. Once your order is in production, we can't change or cancel it.

6. Shipping

Made to order. Free AU shipping on any 2+ items, or on orders over $100 (otherwise $6.95 flat). We can't deliver to PO Boxes.

Every piece is made to order after you check out. You'll get an email with tracking as soon as your order ships. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

7. Returns, refunds and faulty items

Change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery for store credit (unworn, unwashed, tags on, not a sale item, you pay return postage). Faulty, misprinted or wrong items: you choose a refund or a free reprint and we cover the postage. Full details are in our Refund and Returns Policy.

8. Discount codes and offers

  • One discount code per order, unless the offer says otherwise.
  • Codes must be entered at checkout and can't be added to an order after it's placed.
  • Codes have no cash value, can't be exchanged for cash, and may have an expiry date or minimum spend, which we'll tell you when we send the code.
  • Welcome codes are for new customers and are valid on a first order only.
  • We can end an offer at any time, but we'll honour a code already sent to you until the expiry date we told you.

9. Store credit and gift cards

Store credit and gift cards can be used on anything in the store, can't be exchanged for cash, and don't expire. Keep your code safe: treat it like cash.

10. Our designs and content

All statements, designs, graphics, photos, text and branding on this site belong to us or the people who licensed them to us. You're welcome to share our posts and product links. Please don't copy, print, sell or reproduce our designs or photos without written permission.

11. Your content

If you tag us, use our hashtags, or send us photos of you wearing Unsponsored, we'll always ask before reposting them. If you leave a product review, you let us show it on our site and social media, with your first name and last initial, and we can remove reviews that are abusive, off-topic or spam. Please only post content you own.

12. Using the site

Please don't misuse the site, for example by trying to hack it, scraping it, placing fake orders, or using it for anything illegal. We may block access if you do.

13. Links to other sites

Our site may link to other websites and social platforms. We're not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

14. Our liability

We're responsible for the products we sell under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss (like lost profits or missed events) caused by using the site or by delivery delays outside our control. Where the law lets us limit our liability for goods that aren't ordinarily bought for personal, domestic or household use, we limit it to replacing the goods or refunding what you paid.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If there's a dispute, please email us first so we can try to sort it out together.
